Frequently Asked Questions


Yes! Metrie offers medical, dental, and vision benefits starting the first of the month following hire date.

Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO is the provider for medical and vision insurance and Delta Dental is the dental provider.

Benefits start the first of the month following your hire date. For example, if you are hired on March 15, your benefits would begin on April 1.

The deadline to complete the enrollment forms is the last day of the month you are hired in.

Any Team Member working 30 or more hours per week is eligible.

For our Warehouse/Operations Team Members, your direct manager will provide paper enrollment forms on Day 1.

For salaried new hires, all documents will be emailed to you and also provided after new hire orientation.

Your Talent Acquisition Specialist can provide the enrollment forms.

Yes! Proof is required to enroll your family (For example: a marriage or birth certificate)

The following is a list of who is eligible for benefits:

  • Legally married spouses and eligible domestic partners

  • Natural, adopted, or stepchildren up to age 26

  • Children over 26 who are disabled and depend on the Team Member for support

Benefits cannot be changed unless you have a qualifying life event and need to add or remove someone from your insurance coverage.

You must complete paperwork within 31 days of the event.

Examples of a “life event” include:

  • Change in marital status (marriage or divorce)

  • Change in spouse's healthcare coverage

  • Birth or adoption of a child

At any time! Enrollment forms for retirement savings plans are provided along with your health benefits documents.

It’s never too early or too late to start saving for retirement! Metrie matches up to 4% after six months on continuous service.
