Once again, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent wowed us with another home transformation for a deserving couple on episode three of Nate & Jeremiah by Design. If you’ve been watching every Saturday night, then you may have spotted our trim, like the use of our shiplap inside this Modern Beach Barn styled kitchen and living area.
The design duo used Metrie products to help husband and wife, Mario and Julia, achieve their dream main floor. The couple dreamed of carrying on their family tradition of hosting big dinners and gatherings, but their home lacked functionality due to odd angles and disjointed rooms. Now, look below to see how Nate and Jeremiah took this space from dysfunctional to dreamy.
Walls were knocked down and storage space was added, including a pantry off to the corner, to allow the homeowners and their guests to move freely throughout the area. We love how they used fresh flowers and greenery to liven up the space! There’s also enough seating now to accommodate everyone between the dining table and island.
Nate and Jeremiah went for a Modern Traditional look for this home makeover; the aesthetic continues into the family room. They brilliantly mixed old character, such as a credenza with tattered charm, with new elements, like bold black doors, windows, and casing, along with opulent shams and furniture. The built-in bookcase topped with crown moulding also gives the space some added luxe. Now Julia and Mario can be the hostess with the most-ess during all family gatherings!
Watch all of the exciting transformations on Nate & Jeremiah by Design on Saturdays, at 9 pm (EST), and keep your eyes peeled for more of Metrie’s trim throughout the season.
